Kosofe LG Leader of the House, Olumide County, Gifts N100,000 To A Party Member Down With Health Predicament

Kosofe Local Government Legislative Council’s Leader of the house, Hon. Olumide Onayemi County, has come to the aid of an APC member who has been down with chronic health predicament by giving her a cheque of N100,000 for the payment of her medical treatment. Hon. County gave the afflicted party member known as Mrs. Taiwo Adekoya the stated amount of money yesterday at the Kosofe LGA APC secretariat. The money was presented to the woman by Kosofe LGA APC caretaker committee chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Bello. While issuing the cheque of N100,000 to the woman, County stated that his primary motive was simply to assist people in dire need of financial assistance, adding that he had been doing this for a long time in diverse ways assisting many people even from the meagre amount of money he earns as salary. (Dr) Mudashiru Obasa, on Monday constituted a joint committee of the House to probe allegations of corruption and misappropriation of public funds brought against Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairperson Princess Samiat Bada. Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Leader of the house Hon.Usman Ajibola   The joint committees on Public Account Committee (Local) and Local Government Administration and Community Affairs are to investigate allegations of unscrupulous activities against Princess Bada brought by aggrieved councillors of the LCDA. IKOSI- ISHERI LCDA LEGISLATORS BEGIN INVESTIGATION INTO ONGOING PROJECTS, AS COUNCIL TREASURER, ENGINEER FACE INTERROGATION

    Ikosi-Isheri LCDA legislative council has finally commenced investigation into execution of all ongoing projects in the council from January 2020 till date by the council chairperson Princess Samiat Bada.   The legislative council had during its previous plenary on March 11 th , requested the council treasurer, Mrs. Yemisi Sobowale; the council engineer, Mrs. Effoyota Victoria and the Special Adviser to the council chairperson on works and Infrastructures Mr. Rilwan Akinwale to appear before it on march 16 th to clarify issues relating to all ongoing projects in the council.   However, while the Council Treasurer and the Council Engineer were able to appear before the legislative council, the special adviser on works and infrastructures Mr. Akinwale was conspicuously absent.   No reason was adduced for his absence, but it was strongly believed in some quarter that he may had been advised against appearing before the legislative council by the embattled camp of Prin
