Kosofe Local Government in conjunction with SOHCAHTOA Foundation on Thursday presented 300 free GCE forms to students in Kosofe local government area. The free GCE forms were presented to the beneficiary students at the council's secretariat by the executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe. In his keynote address, the council boss stated that his administration placed a great premium on the education of the youth and as such would not play politics with it. The government also agreed to ASUU’s demand to pay their members’ salary arrears from February to June through the old salary payment platform – the Government Integrated Financial and Management Information System. The Education Committee constituted by the Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon to provide solution-driven recommendations on how to develop education in the Constituency has finally submitted its reports to the Lawmaker. The Five-Man Committee on Thursday September 24 submitted a 60-page reports to the Lawmaker at his Lagos State House of Assembly office . The Education Committee which was set up by Hon. Sanni Okanlawon on May 17 this year comprised of Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Mr. Ganiyu Oyebanjo, Mr. Funsho Oduntan, Mr. Saheed Olaide and Mr. Adam Yusuf.
