COMMUNITY LEADER, SEUN SALAMI, PETITIONS LAGOS COMMISSIONER OF POLICE OVER SHOOTING OF BROTHER'S WIFE BY POLICEMEN
A community leader, Mr. Oluwaseun Salami, has asked the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to investigate the shooting incident involving his brother's wife and the men of Nigeria Police Force along Ikorodu-,Itoikin road. Mr. Salami, in a petition dated 29th November 2021 and titled: "Report of Police Misconduct and Shooting of Innocent Citizen Along Ikorodu- itoikin Road, Ikorodu Lagos State"', discloses that his brother's wife was shot by one of the police officers stationed at a checkpoint at Parafa-Lucky Fibre along Ikorodu-Itoikin road. He explains that the incident occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2021, around 8 pm when the Policemen operating at the checkpoint were locked in an argument with some Tricycle operators over "bribe issue".
