The proof of a pudding is in the eating, the suitability, reliability and capability of a political aspirant for a public post is in the competence, loyalty and trustworthiness.

From whichever way you look at it, COMPETENCE, LOYALTY and TRUSTWORTHINESS are the three most active ingredients making up the quality of great leadership. The combination of these ingredients forms the basis or yardstick by which the electorate determine the suitability, ability and reliability of a political aspirant for a particular public office or post.

While Competence denotes the mental and physical capability, in terms of intellectual know-how and physical wellbeing, to carry out a particular assignment, loyalty denotes the level of consistency to remain true, dedicated and committed to a cause and a people; and Trustworthiness, on the other hand, denotes the integrity and honesty of a leader.

Hon. Olarewaju Carew fca, an aspirant for Lagos state House of Assembly in Kosofe Constituency 1, no doubt possesses these qualities in good measure. He has his eyes firmly fixed on the ball to become the representative of the teeming people of Kosofe Constituency 1 not for personal aggrandizement but for the total emancipation of the constituents and accelerated development of the Constituency.

His suitability, reliability and capability for the position of a member of Lagos State House of Assembly are axiomatic going by his track record as a great manager of human and material resources as well as being a loyal party member of our great party APC that enjoys the trust and confidence of party faithful due to his commitment and dedication to the cause and success of the party.

It is only a very loyal party member that would remain true, committed and honest to the agenda of the party without bearing malice when prevailed upon to step down on two different occasions. For Hon. Lanre Carew to have willingly obeyed the decisions of the party despite his huge financial and material contribution to the activities and affairs of the party shows the kind of love, faith and trust he has in the party and its teeming members.

This singular display of act of loyalty vividly points to the fact that if given the ticket to represent the constituency in Lagos State House of Assembly he would surely remain true and committed to the cause of the people and the party.

The time is quite auspicious for all the party's ward executives to rally around him and give him the ticket to represent the constituency in the Lagos state House of Assembly. He would not disappoint.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
