LAHA 2023: Hon Okla is the most qualified, experienced, resourceful, competent, tested and trusted to occupy the seat in 2023

Hon Okla, a distinguished lawmaker par excellence, whose intellect, antecedents, competence, precedents and disposition remains the centre-points for progress, growth and development of Kosofe Constituency 1. He is the most qualified among the contenders.

In less than 3 years at the Lagos State House of Assembly, the Chairman House Committee on Education (Ministry/Agencies), has sponsored 2 major bills into law: Cooperatives societies law 2021, and Lagos State Institute of legislative studies & research 2022.
He Co-sponsored over 20 bills into law. Also, he personally presented 3 motions: Need to protect local marketers and entrepreneur from unhealthy Competitions; Call on State government to established micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMES) and commercial hubs in all the senatorial districts of Lagos State; Call on the State government to ensure the smooth operation of courier/ logistic services within the state.
In addition, He Co-sponsored over 9 motions. This is anomalous and unprecedented for a first-termer.

With Hon Okla incontrovertible legislative prowess and effective representation, he was able to attract massive infrastructural projects, thereby turning his Constituency, Kosofe 1, to construction sites.

Hon Okla is a good politician that can be judge by actions through what he has done. Within the short period, he was able to establish: Okla Table Tennis Academy; organise grassroots football tournament tagged 'Okla Unity Cup'; setup an ICT Centre at Emmanuel high primary school Ojota for the use of 5 public schools; distributed educational materials to public schools; organise Secondary Schools debate competition that generated first of its kind one day legislator; award scholarships and free health insurance scheme to financially challenged but brilliant students of higher learning across the country; facilitated the employment of numerous Constituents into teaching service commission, LAWMA Police, LAMATA, Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL); Local government service commission; LASUTH; constructed borehole water projects across the Constituency; gave out Solar Street lights to community; empowered Constituents with POS terminal devices and start-up capital; facilitated several agricultural empowerment and training; Partnered with Funergy Technology and trained Kosofe youths in Renewable energy solutions (Sales/Marketing, Technical and Production of Inverter), to mention but a few.

The good people of Kosofe Constituency 1 should be rest assured that they have a competent, vocal, and versatile parliamentarian as against experimenting with inexperienced, neophytic individuals who make empty promises and if erroneously elected will necessitate starting all over again and inadvertently retard the progress, growth and development of the State, the assembly and Kosofe Constituency 1.

We passionately appeal to our party leaders, stakeholders and delegates to support and Vote Hon Okla for second term at the forthcoming primaries to represent the All progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 general election.

One good term deserves another.
Okla 2023, Alausa Leekan Si.
