The immediate past House of Representatives member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. (Prince) Rotimi Agunsoye has again proved his commitment to the infrastructure development of Kosofe Federal Constituency with the facilitated installation of 200 solar-powered street lights along CMD Road, Lagos. The facilitation of the 200 solar-powered street lights by Hon. Agunsoye came less than two months after the end of his tenure as a member of the 8th and 9th House of Representatives.  In his bid to alleviate the perennial issue of flooding and improve the drainage systems, Kosofe Local Government Executive Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has embarked on a comprehensive desilting and declogging of all water channels in the local government area. The initiative comes as heavy rains and clogged drainages have caused considerable hardship to residents and disrupted commercial and social activities in some areas of the local government. Political figures, family members, and friends gathered on Sunday to celebrate the momentous 70th birthday thanksgiving of Mother in Celestial Mojisola Fadipe, the beloved mother of Comrade Taiwo Fadipe, the Chief Press Secretary to Executive Chairman Kosofe Local Government.  The celestial-themed thanksgiving was held at the popular Celestial Church of Christ Omoalade Alafia Parish, Bariga with family and guests thronging the venue to rejoice with the woman of the moment. Madam Fadipe, an influential figure within the celestial community who turned 70 years on Friday, was dressed in a stunning white gown as she was greeted with thunderous applause, indicative of the love and admiration her presence commanded. After three days of intensive training, the much-publicized skill acquisition programme organized by the ROT Babes in Kosofe Federal Constituency came to a delightful end on Friday.  The initiative which was designed to arm young women with essential skills, witnessed the participation of about 100 determined constituents of Kosofe Federal Constituency honing their skills in various crafts, such as headgear making, soap production, smoothie preparation, and event decoration.
