Kosofe Local Government Commences Rehabilitation of Deplorable Roads With the Resurfacing of Sunmola, Adebowale, Salami Streets

Motorists and residents in Kosofe Local Government Area can now heave a sigh of relief over the deplorable state of roads in the area as the Local Government Council has commenced comprehensive rehabilitation of bad potions in a bid to address the deteriorating state of its road infrastructure.

The rehabilitation project, which was initiated by the local government chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, came against the background of several complaints from residents for urgent intervention. 
In recent times, the deplorable state of the roads had led to traffic congestion, gridlocks, damage to vehicles, and difficult accessibility for road users.

But that may now be things of the past with the commencement of road rehabilitation projects across the local government area starting with the resurfacing of Sunmola Street and Adebowale/Salami Street.

The road rehabilitation works involve repairs to potholes, leveling of uneven surfaces, and the application of asphalt to improve the overall condition of the roads.
Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has told residents to exercise patience and cooperate with the local government as the road rehabilitation project progresses. 
 
He also assured that the council would work assiduously to ensure little disruption to commercial activities during the construction period.

He further revealed that the road rehabilitation project is part of a comprehensive plan by the local government council to uplift infrastructural facilities within Kosofe Local Government Area. 

He expressed his administration's commitment to improving the living standards of residents and creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

As news of the road rehabilitation project spread across the local government area, residents and motorists have expressed their gratitude and delight for the swift intervention. 


Many residents are of the opinion that rehabilitation of the roads would not only enhance their daily commute but also boost economic activities in the community.

They expressed optimism that the latest intervention would mark the beginning of a comprehensive drive to improve the overall infrastructure of Kosofe LGA.

With the commencement of the road rehabilitation project, Kosofe Local Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and development of its residents.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
