Rep Agunsoye, NIPSS Parley With President Tinubu; Present Research Report on Industrialization, Energy Security and Climate Change

Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye, the immediate past member of House of Representatives Kosofe Federal Constituency, was among the distinguished team of Senior Executive Course 45 (SEC 45) of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, that recently had a parley with President Tinubu at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.

 The purpose of the special deliberation was to present the report of a research titled, "Industrialisation, Energy Security and Climate Change: Issues, Challenges and Prospects" to the President.
The parley took place on Friday, and it was a significant opportunity for Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye and his colleagues from SEC 45 to engage directly with President Tinubu on crucial matters that impact Nigeria's industrial development, energy security, and the urgent issue of climate change.

 The team from NIPSS who were on a ten-month intensive study had conducted comprehensive research, examining the intricate relationship between industrialization, energy security, and climate change, and their presentation was anticipated to shed light on critical issues and offer workable recommendations.

According to the Director-General of the Institute, Prof. Ayo Omotayo, during the ten-month period of the course, participants engaged in a series of lectures and seminars, brainstorming sessions, as well as study tours to 13 countries and seven states in Nigeria.
As Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye was part of this esteemed Senior Executive Course 45, it highlights his deep commitment to driving positive change and sustainable development in Nigeria.

 With his wealth of experience in governance and representation, his presence among the team illustrated the significance of the subject matter and the involvement of senior political figures in addressing these challenges.

Receiving the report of the research, President commended the NIPSS team for their diligent research, assuring that his administration would carefully study the report and integrate its recommendations into its policies and programmes.
