Woman killed as container falls on car at Alapere along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway

A woman was reportedly killed on Friday in an accident that occurred at N.N.P.C inward Alapere, Ogudu along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Lagos when a fully loaded container on Mack articulated vehicle fell on a Nissan Car with registration ABJ 692 BG The woman was said to be sitting at the back of the car at the time of the accident while the driver of the Nissan Car surprisingly survived unhurt. According to the press statement issued by the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Mr. Adebayo Taofiq, the accident occurred when the  Mack articulated vehicle with 40ft fully loaded container on a high speed lost control due to brake failure and rammed into Nissan car also on motion. However, the driver of the Mack articulated truck and his motor-boy disappeared into the thin air immediately the fatal accident occurred.
