Hon Okanlawon Felicitates With Christians at Easter

The Honourable member representing Kosofe Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Education, Hon Sanni Ganiyu Okanlawon has felicitated with Christians as they mark this year's Easter season, which is the commemoration of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, charging them to imbibe Godly values of righteousness, peace, unity, love, faith and justice which are the true nature of Jesus Christ.

Hon Okanlawon made the call in a goodwill message to mark Good Friday and Easter Monday celebration on Friday, April 15, 2022.

The lawmaker added that the Easter symbolised sacrifice and service to God and therefore, enjoined Christians to emulate the life of Jesus Christ who laid down his life as the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of humankind and humanity.

In addition, Hon Okanlawon urged the Christian faithful in the Kosofe Constituency 1, Lagos State and Nigeria at large to continue to live in peace and harmony, good neighbourliness with the believers of other faiths and emulate the virtues of humility, perseverance, sacrifice, love and forgiveness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Hon Okanlawon wished all Nigerians a peaceful, Happy and blessed Holy Easter Celebration.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
