KOSOFE CHAIRMAN'S CUP ENDS IN HIGH NOTE, AS OJOTA WINS MAIDEN EDITION
~Moyo Ogunlewe Reiterates Commitment to Youth & Sports Development The maiden edition of the Kosofe Local Government Chairman's Cup came to a scintillating end on Sunday with Ward F. Ojota emerging the winners at the final of the grassroots football competition held at Emmanuel Primary School, Ojota. The football competition, which was aimed at promoting grassroots football and discovering young talents, saw seven teams from the seven wards in Kosofe Local Government area slugging it out for the top prize. The final match was a keenly contested encounter between Ward F Ojota and Ward B Oworo. Both teams displayed great skill and determination, entertaining the spectators with their impressive performances. At the end of the pulsating encounter Ward F, Ojota emerged the winners by defeating Oworo Ward B by 2-1. And were presented with the Chairman's Cup trophy and a cash prize of One Million Naira (N1,000,000).
