I miss Sen. Osinowo’s generosity during sallah period – Olumide County.

 kosofe Local Government Legislative council’s leader of the house, Hon. Olumide Onayemi County has disclosed he missed the generosity and kindheartedness of late Senator Adebayo Osinowo in this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival declaring that no other person in Kosofe local government area can be as generous as the late senator. 
 
Hon. County while felicitating with all residents of Kosofe Local Government Area on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival recalled memorable experience he had of late Sen. Osinowo during Eid-el-Kabir festival period.
   
In a chat with Kosofe Repoters on Friday, he narrated how Late Sen. Adebayo Osinowo popularly known as “Peperito” used to give him ram and large quantity of food stuff which he would give to two groups of youth up and down Abi Street at Mende Maryland where he resides to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. 
 
The former supervisor for Agric/ sports/ youth/rural in the last dispensation revealed that on every Eid-el-Kabir festival he used to give ram to those two groups of youth on his street long before he became a public office holder and that half of those Sallah gifts used to come from Late Sen. Adebayo Osinowo’s generosity. 

He said: “Sallah period was always a special one. We look towards it with great optimism. I have developed a habit of giving ram to two groups of youth on Abi street Mende Maryland where I reside.
 
“Out of those two ram I needed, Sen. Adebayo Osinowo would provide one with groundnut oil and bags of rice. So I would collect half of the items I needed to give the youth on my street. This is the reason I will always miss Senator Adebayo Osinowo.” 
 
He continued: “Three days ago some people called me and were shouting that because ‘Peperito is gone, Ijebu-Ode is dried’. Actually, when he was alive he would buy 500 ram and would go from house to house sharing them without any discrimination of whether you were APC, PDP or APGA. 
 
“I don’t know anybody in kosofe local government area that can fit into his shoe. He was a detribalized Nigerian that touched many people’s lives in many ways.    
    
 Hon. County also shared a testimony of a man who late Osinowo assisted with 500,000 for the burial of his father. He said the man later brought his pastor to senator Osinowo for assistance. He said immediately senator Osinowo gave the Pastor N700,000 he was stunned and started shouting allover Sen. Osinowo’s compound: “come and see what a Muslim has done ooo!” 
 
He remarked that such was the generosity and kindheartedness of the man who helped him to become successful in life.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
