As the rescheduled Lagos East Senatorial By-election draws closer, the All Progressives Congress Local Organising Committee (LOC) in Kosofe Local Government is taking nothing for granted at ensuring overwhelming victory for the candidate of the party Mr. Tokunbo Abiru in the Local Government as it has set political machinery in motion for the senatorial By-election which will take place on Dec. 5

 


Kosofe Reporters learnt that the Local Government LOC comprising of Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Hon. Afolabi Sofola; Kosofe LGA APC Chairman, Alh. Kehinde Bello; Former Minister for Works and Housing, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe; Director of Special Duties Tokunbo Abiru Campaign Team, Alh. Musiliu Aigoro and a host of others has concluded plan to resume strategic electioneering Campaign this week by reaching out to key political stakeholders in the area.

 




It was also gathered that the LOC has made necessary arrangement for the mobilization of party members in all the 7 wards in the local government area for the resumption of wards house-to house campaign.

 

Before electioneering campaign was suspended last month as a result of #EndSars Protests, the LOC had held fruitful discussion with Ogudu Mechanic Village and Ogudu GRA Resident Associations, while house-to-house campaign rallies were held on two different occasion in all the 7 wards.
