Folashade Akinpelu with the organization of first-of-its-kind ward stakeholders’ meeting to render account of her stewardship since assumption of office as councillor in 2017.   Hon. Akinpelu also used the opportunity of the event to provide medical check-up, eye glasses, on-the-spot medical treatment and drugs free of charge to hundreds of people who were in dire need of the facilities.   The events took place at De Roya

    The eight days firdau prayer for the repose of the soul of Late Alhaja Mosunmola Ganiat Sofola, the wife of Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Hon. Afolabi Sofola was held this morning at Anthony village Recreation centre, Anthony as scores of political associates, family members, relatives and friends of the deceased and her husband from far and near stormed the venue of the event to bid her farewell.   The firdau prayer started off at exactly 10 o’ clock in the morning with the team of Islamic clerics from Kosofe Local Government Area and Ikenne- Remo in Ogun state offering special prayers for the repose of the deceased.     And at about 10 o’clock in the morning, the venue of the event had already been filled up with invited guests who came from far and near to pay their last respect to the wife of Kosofe Local Government Chairman who died last week Saturday after a brief illness.   Among the notable dignitaries that came to bid farewell to Late Alhaja Sofola was
