Anthony Village Stands Still for the Installation Ceremony of New Baale, Yusuf Ayoola Oseni

Anthony Village, on Saturday November 28, stood still at the installation ceremony of the 5th Baale of the community, Chief Yusuf Ayoola Oseni which was held at Anthony Village Playing Ground.

                                          

                                        


It was excitement galore at the occasion which was being held to celebrate the installation of Chief Oseni as family, friends, business associates, neighbours, community leaders, royal fathers and political leaders and eminent personalities from within and outside Kosofe Local Government Area thronged the venue of the event to felicitate with the new Baale.

                               


                                    

Chief among the eminent personalities that graced the installation ceremony are the Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 Hon. Sanni Okanlawon; former commissioner Lagos State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Busayo Adebayo; former Vice-Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Otunba Ayodele Alakija; Vanguard Newspaper Publisher Mr. Sam Agbuka and Otunba Adesina Adeleke. While the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Hon. Afolabi Sofola was represented by his Supervisor for Agric, Youth, Sport and rural, Hon. Oyeyemi Oyetayo.


                                    

                                    



Others are the councillor of Ward D Anthony, Hon. Idowu Oluloro; the Baale Of Soluyi 1, Chief Adegbenro etc.


                                      

                                            

Chief Ayoola Oseni was on November 16th, 2020 installed as the 5th Baale of Anthony Village by Oloworo of Oworo, Oba Saliu Oloruntoyin in his palace and immediately paid a visit to the office of Kosofe Local Government Chairman Hon. Afolabi Sofola few months after the demise of the 4th Baale of the town Late Olajide Mukaila Oseni.

                                    


                                        


In his address at the ceremony Chief Oseni while expressing gratitude to APC chieftain Otunba Busira Alebiosu, Otunba Adeshina Adeleke, the residents and business owners and some other people who played immense role in his ascension, promised to embark on the new journey with great commitment and responsibility.

                                 

 He therefore declared his resolve under a S.A.F.E agenda to make Anthony Village a better place for the residents, business owners and visitors to live in through provision of Security to protect lives and property, provision of Food Security through establishment of community market and making Education accessible to the youths of the area in other to engage them in productive activities.

                               



One of the important dignitaries that graced the ceremony, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon was full of praise for the new Baale of Anthony Village.

                                       

The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 described chief Ayoola Oseni as a man integrity who is progressive minded and committed to the development and growth of Anthony Village.

                                      

And while wishing his reign as Baale to be filled with peace, progress and tranquillity, he advised him to collaborate and synergize with his chiefs in decision making.

                                       

Similarly, Otunba Adeshina Adeleke expressed delight at the choice of Chief Yusuf Oseni as the Baale of Anthony Village describing him as a cool-headed, educated and hardworking person who is passionate about the development of his community.



                                            


                                                     

He therefore advised him to listen and remain faithful and obedient to his elders while thanking Otunba Busira Alebiosu, Hon. Afolabi Sofola and Oba Saliu Oloruntoyin for the important role they played in his installation.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
