HOPE 2023 LAUNCHES ALIMOSHO CHAPTER, AS COORDINATOR APPEALS TO TINUBU TO CONTEST FOR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

The clamour for All Progressives Congress National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to vie for 2023 presidential election grew in intensity on Thursday with a Pro- Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President group known as “Hope 2023 Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President 2023” launching its Alimosho Local Government Area Chapter in Lagos State.

The nationwide sensitization and awareness group created to mobilize support for the actualization of the former Lagos State Governor’s presidential ambition was launched by its Lagos state Chapter Coordinator, Hon. Abdul Rashid Okanlawon Olokodana at Success Event Centre Old Ota Road, Abule Egba, Alimosho LGA.

The launching of the group in Alimosho took place amidst great excitement and euphoria with party leaders, community leaders, royal fathers, non-indigenes and party faithful storming the venue of the event to give their support to the course.

While launching the Chapter of the group in Alimosho, the State Coordinator, Hon. Rasheed Olokodana, in his keynote address, expressed delight at launching another chapter of the group in Lagos State after the launch of the Kosofe Local Government Area Chapter early this year.

He noted that Hope 2023 group is very much on the ground in Lagos State and assured that other Local Government Chapters in the state would be launched very soon to give the much-needed impetus to the call for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed to contest the 2023 presidential election.

He added that the launching of the group chapter in Alimosho was to remind the rest of the world that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the only viable option for the 2023 presidential election and also persuade him to contest for 2023 presidential election.

He, therefore, appealed to the executives of Hope 2023 Alimosho Chapter to live up to their responsibilities by working assiduously for the realization of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu presidential ambition.

Hon. Olokodana however decried the rumour being bruited about on social media and national dailies about the health status of the APC National Leader, calling on the rumour peddlers to desists from playing dirty politics with his health status.

While assuring that Asiwaju Tinubu is hale and hearty and that nothing would stop him from becoming the next president of Nigeria, he used the opportunity of the event to appeal to the APC National Leader to vie for 2023 presidential election.

The Coordinator of Alimosho Local Government Area Chapter, Alhaji Abubakir Idris, in his address, thanked invited guests and party members for attending the launching of Hope 2023 chapter of Alimosho LGA.

While pointing out that the purpose of the group is to mobilize support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President in 2023, he stated that the group had been able to use its platform to bring people of different social, ethnic and religious background together in Alimosho LGA.

He said they had been able to reach out to political, traditional, community and ethnic leaders in the area to sensitize them about the goal and objectives of the group.

He, therefore, called on the well-meaning people in the area to join hands together with the group for the realisation of its goal.

While the Eze Ndigbo of Agbado/ Oke Odo LCDA Dr. Leonard Okafor in his address assured of Ndigbo’s support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2023 presidential quest as they are a partner in progress.

He stated that the APC National leader has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole and that the Ndigbo are adequately represented in Lagos State Government as well.

He said by these facts the Ndigbo would give their overwhelming support to Asiwaju Tinubu and therefore urged the Executives of Hope 2023 in Alimosho LGA to always carry them along.

In similar vein, the Lagos State Chapter Public Relation Officer of Hope 2023 Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senior Evangelist Leo Ejiogu appealed to all ethnic nationalities to join hands together and support the political crusade.

He said Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is a builder of men who has given smile and hope to many people in the country and he is also a detribalized Nigerian who has given non-indigenes a sense of belonging.

He, therefore, urged all and sundry to rally round him and make him the president of the country in 2023.

One of the traditional rulers who graced the occasion, Chief Oke Kamaldeen Dada, Baale Akitan Land, urged all Yoruba people at home and abroad to rally round Asiwaju Tinubu to become president of Nigeria.

He also advised the executives of Hope 2023 Alimosho Chapter to work concertedly with the traditional leaders to realise their goals.
