BREAKING: LANRE CAREW JOINS HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY RACE

Few weeks after returning to the country from a long vacation, Hon. Lanre Carew FCA has finally joined the race for the Lagos state House of Assembly seat in Kosofe Constituency 1.

The intention of the Farm city boss to contest in the forthcoming Lagos State House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency 1 Primary election on the platform of All Progressives Congress was made known to Kosofe Reporters by his political associates.

Since returning to the country from Dubai last month, Hon. Lanre Carew has been under immense pressure from his supporters to run for the Kosofe Constituency 1 Lagos state House of Assembly seat.

With his intention now made known, the stage is now set for a keen contest with the present House of Assembly member representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon for the party ticket next month.

It will be recalled that the business mogul was a leading House of Assembly Aspirant in 2019 before he was asked to step down. He also contested in Kosofe Local Government chairmanship primary election in 2021 where he had the highest number of votes but had to succumb to party supremacy.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
