KOSOFE CHAIR, MOYO OGUNLEWE, ORGANIZES RAMADAN LECTURE, PRAYS FOR TINUBU


The executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister "Mohammed" Moyosore Ogunlewe, on Wednesday, organized a  Ramadan lecture with a special prayer for the All Progressives Congress presidential Hopeful Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Ramadan lecture was held in conjunction with the league of Imam Kosofe Local Government Area at the council's secretariat Ogudu Road, Ojota.
The Executive Chairman in his address stated that the purpose of organizing the Ramadan lecture was to offer a special prayer to complement that of the All Progressives Congress National Leader who is presently on a lesser Hajj in Mecca.
And in an interview with newsmen, Barrister Ogunlewe also appealed to Nigerians to remain positive and pray for the unity of the country as the Holy Month of Ramadan draws to an end.

He noted that the special prayer was very important in seeking the divine favour of God for the realization of the presidential ambition of the APC National Leader.
He said: “Whatever you do in life, you need to put God first and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is our mentor, our leader, our benefactor and we just want to wish him well. And what matters most is to pray for him which is what we have been doing.
“We also pray for the country, we pray for the Governors, we pray for President Buhari and also pray for ourselves too. This is the time we all need prayers"

The Ramadan lecture was delivered by Imam Fadilak Sheik Abdul-Hamid Kelani, the Chief missioner of kosofe Local Government Area.

Sheik Kelani while extolling Asiwaju Tinubu for his political exploit and leadership quality advised the youth to follow the right developmental path by imbibing and exhibiting great moral discipline in their endeavours.
The special Ramadan lecture was attended by the Secretary to the local government, Prince Fatai Gbadebo; the leader of the house, Idowu Oluloro; Councillors, Supervisors and party members.
