MOYO OGUNLEWE FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS ON GOOD FRIDAY

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has felicitated with Christian faithful across the country as they celebrate this year's Easter festival to mark the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The council Boss in his Easter message to the residents of Kosofe Local Government and Nigerians sued for love, sacrifice and peaceful coexistence among one another as symbolized by the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.


He stated that it is only when such virtues are exemplified that the nation can move forward.

While noting that the crucifixion of Jesus Christ typified the highest ideal of love, selflessness, peace and tolerance, he urged Nigerians to reflect and exhibit these virtues to promote peace and harmony in the society.


He also enjoined the citizens of the country to ceaselessly pray for God's intervention in the affairs of the country, noting that although the challenges are dire but surmountable.

"On behalf of the Executive Members,  Legislative Arm, Management team members, Staff and good people of Kosofe Local Government, I join my counterparts across the world to celebrate and wish all Christian faithful, residents of Kosofe and Nigerians a Happy Easter celebration.

I call on Nigerians to collectively imbibe the spirit of love, sacrifice and peaceful co-existence, it is only when such virtues exist that the nation can make meaningful progress.

This season calls to mind the selflessness, love, and tolerance which were the hallmark of Jesus Christ during His earthly life. it is a season when we should pause and reflect on our individual and collective roles in promoting and sustaining that foundation of love, peace and harmony in our society.

Therefore, we must see this period as a time that affords us to think about how we can help steer our nation back on the road to prosperity by working in the spirit of togetherness.


I urge us all to continue to live peacefully and do our bits to make Kosofe Local Government, Lagos and Nigeria a better place for us all to live.

 I also enjoin us to continue to pray for God's interventions in the state of affairs of our dear nation. The challenges are daunting but not insurmountable if we earnestly cry out to God. 

I pray that the blessings of Easter will continue to abide with you this season and beyond. (Amen)

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
