Moyosore Ogunlewe Honoured With Outstanding Performance Award By Lions Club International.

The executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Monday honoured with an Outstanding Performance Award by the International Association of Lions Club District 404-A1 NG Anthony Village NGCHUKS LIONS Club.
The Award according to the president of the humanitarian club, Lion James Uwuseba, was bestowed on him in recognition of his outstanding performance since his assumption of office as executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government.
The award was presented to Barrister Ogunlewe at the investitures of the club president and other officers held at Presken Hotel and Suites Shonibare Estate, Maryland Ikeja.

While receiving the award, Barrister Ogunlewe, thanked the Lions Club International for taking cognizance of the remarkable works he had been able to consummate within seven months at the helms of affairs of Kosofe local government.
He noted that among notable infrastructural projects and welfare packages, he was able to rehabilitate 10 roads and 7 drainage systems In seven wards of the local government area in fulfilment of his electoral promises.

He, therefore, expressed his resolve to deliver more infrastructural projects to the Communities and people of the local government area in the next two years.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
