LAHA 2023: CAREW MEETS AIGORO POLITICAL BLOC, REITERATES COMMITMENT TO QUALITY REPRESENTATION

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections draw near, a leading aspirant vying for the seat of Lagos State House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Olanrewaju Carew, has reiterated his commitment to providing quality representation to the people of Kosofe Constituency 1 if elected into office.
Hon. Carew gave the assurance on Monday when he paid a special visit to an APC Chieftain Alh. Musiliu Aigoro and his Political bloc at the residence of the APC Chieftain.
The farm City owner who had a fruitful discussion with the political bloc of the APC Chieftain consisting of a significant number of Ward and LGA executives stated that the time has come for the constituents to take their destinies into their hands by electing the right calibre of person to represent their interest at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
He said this has become imperative because of the prevailing hardship being faced by the people occasioned by many failed promises.
He said if given the opportunity to change the ugly narrative, he would do everything within his capacity to provide quality representation, prioritize the welfare of party members, positively engage the youth and women in productive schemes and facilitate infrastructural projects to the area.
He said as a political leader, he would never discriminate against any individual or group as it is not in his character, stressing that he is a team player and always take delight in the success and progress of people around him.
He also made it known that going by his childhood experiences and upbringing he is an altruistic person that is very sensitive to the plights of his fellow human beings and always willing to lend a helping hand.
He, therefore, appealed to the political bloc of Alhaji Musiliu Aigoro to give him the necessary support to represent the Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, assuring that he would not let them down.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
