On behalf of my family, the Legislative arm, Executive Members, Management Team, members of staff and the good people of Kosofe Local Government, I join millions of Progressive Nigerians, Party Leaders, relations, associates and other well-wishers across the globe to celebrate and rejoice with our dynamic, indefatigable, and exemplary leader *Hon. Kolade Alabi* as he joyously marks his birthday today 9th May, 2022. 

You have been a man of exemplary character in diverse ways, your wealth of political knowledge has made you more distinct among many of your ranks and you are indeed a good and respectable politician, a trusted team player in the team saddled with the responsibility of taking Local Governments across the Nation and Lagos State to lofty heights.

You have proven your ability and capability not only from your words but also through your dedication and commitment to quality services.

Your tenacity and vibrancy have shown in the smooth running of this government.

 You are a living and moving treasure whose life is worthy of emulation. May your deeds speak for you when you need them.

As you relish in the ecstasy of this auspicious day, it is my wish and prayer that the Almighty God increase you in divine wisdom as you continue to serve your fatherland in your quest for a greater Lagos via achievement of the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda and continuous propagation of progressive ideology.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
