The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, has reiterated the commitment of his administration to the provision of adequate welfare packages to the council's workers to enhance their efficiency.

Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe represented by the Secretary to the Local Government,  Hon Fatai Oladeinde Gbadebo made the statement on Wednesday during the Monthly prayer session/ workers forum at the secretariat.

The SLG while addressing the staff acknowledged their diligence and support over the years. 


He gave the Executive Chairman's assurance of his administration’s commitment to enhancing the productivity of the workers through adequate provision of welfare packages and other beneficial working conditions.


Also speaking at the event was the Director of Admin and HR Mrs J.T. Odubeko, who charged the workers of the local government to be diligent in the discharge of their responsibilities. 

She added that there would be sensitization on filling the SPADEV form by the staff on Friday for upward proper documentation. 


The Head of Finance and Account, Mr Olamide Ojikutu reiterated that the increment in Internally Generated Revenue of the Local Government would have to be enhanced.
 The NULGE Chairman, Comrade Sunday Orababa said the closing remarks by appreciating the staff for their steadfast love and prayers, and there he announced the official presentation of the newly purchased staff bus to the workers of Kosofe local government.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
