AUDIT COMMISSIONER: AIGORO ATTRIBUTES APPOINTMENT TO FAITH IN GOD, LOYALTY TO PARTY AS LOYALISTS CELEBRATE APPOINTMENT WITH SPECIAL PRAYER

The newly appointed commissioner of the Lagos State Audit Service Commission Alhaji Musiliu Alade Aigoro has attributed his recent appointment to his unflinching faith in God and consistent loyalty to his party. 

Alhaji Aigoro made the disclosure on Sunday at a special prayer session organised by his loyalists at his Oworonshoki resident to celebrate his appointment.
The former local government chairmanship aspirant while thanking well-wishers and followers for their support noted that his strong belief in God gave him the mental fillip and impetus to trudge on in serving the party diligently despite series of disappointments he had experienced at every moment of political rewards.

Alhaji Aigoro explained further that his failure to get rewarded with a political post after long years of meritorious service to the progressive fold ìn Lagos State made him a butt and an object of political derision while close friends would also question his reason for serving the party again after not being considered for a political appointment.
He, however, opined that not being rewarded politically was an inexplicable act of God while his appointment as a commissioner of Lagos state Audit Service Commission was preordained.

He said he received the news of his appointment as a commissioner of Lagos State Audit Service Commission few days after arriving the country from Saudi Arabia where he had gone for a special prayer.

While expressing gratitude to God, he urged his teeming supporters to always put their faith in God, be patient and remain loyal to a progressive cause.
It would be recalled that Alhaji Musiliu Aigoro once aspired for the Lagos Island Federal House of Representatives Seat ìn 1992 and had on three different occasions aspired for the chairmanship seat of Kosofe Local Government. The recent being 2021 Local Government Chairmanship elections in Lagos State.

Apart from this, he had headed various electioneering campaign posts at different electioneering period, the recent being the Director of Special Duty Tokunbo Abiru Campaign Team in 2020 Lagos East Senatorial Bye-election.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
