BASHIR OLORUNTOYIN SALIU ROYAL FAMILY MARKS ONE-YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF LATE MONARCH
The Oba of Oworonshoki Kingdom HRM Oba Babatunde Saliu joined other members of the royal family on Thursday to mark the one-year remembrance of the late monarch of Oworonshoki Kingdom Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu.
Oba Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu who joined his ancestors on August 30, 2021 after a brief illness was committed to mother earth on September 8, 2021.
And on Thursday, the sons and daughters of the late monarch from far and near converged at the palace of Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom to remember the life and times of their late monarch who ruled the Kingdom for over twenty years.
Before refreshment and entertainment of guests took place, special prayers for the continuous repose of the soul of the late monarch had been offered by Islamic Clerics led by the chief Imam of Ajunmoni Central Mosque Alhaji Lukmon Sanusi.
The One-year remembrance event was graced by Osolo of Isolo HRM Oba Kabiru Adelaja Ilufemiloye Agbabiaka, Oworonshoki Council of Chiefs, Oworonshoki Council of Elders and the Ojora Royal family.
