A staunch member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State and a die-hard Atiku loyalist, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo, the husband of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairperson - Princess Samiat Bada- is on the Payroll of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA as he is receiving N500,000 monthly, Kosofe Reporters has reliably gathered.
According to reliable sources at the LCDA, apart from the N500,000, Banjo is also getting sundry allowances and was recently presented a Jeep by his wife, Princess Bada.
Hon. Banjo who was the former deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly has been attending PDP rallies within and outside Ogun while he is also involved in a vigorous electioneering campaign against APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This shocking revelation has now led to serious condemnation within the rank and file of the All Progressives Congress in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA and beyond who have started to question the rationale behind the huge amount of money being paid to Banjo monthly while not performing any statutory role in the LCDA.
The revelation has also raised serious doubt over the loyalty and commitment of the Ikosi-Isheri chairperson to the aspiration of APC Presidential Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, with concerned party members describing the act as shameful and anti-party.

It is believed that Princess Bada, fondly called Mayoress by her admirers, may have been funding the political activities of her husband in Ogun state PDP secretly from the coffers of the APC-controlled Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. 

Kosofe Reporters also reliably gathered that the sister of Ikosi-Isheri council boss, Mrs. Muyibat Balogun, is equally on the payroll as she is allegedly receiving N800,000 monthly with sundry allowances as Chairperson of the LCDA .
While Samiat Bada is believed to be administering the council under the wrong assumption as " Mayoress/Council Chairman", her sister who is neither the wife of a council chairman nor an elected member is reportedly playing the role of "Council Chairperson".

We also reliably gathered that Samiat Bada has also bought a story building for her sister at Oluyombo street in Ketu.
It promises to be an interesting ahead as more revelations will come tumbling in.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
