LARGER KOSOFE RESIDENTS CALL FOR IMMEDIATE IMPEACHMENT OF IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA CHAIRPERSON OVER ILLEGAL PAYMENT TO PDP HUSBAND, SIBLING

Sequel to the discoveries of illegal payment of emoluments and other sundry funds by the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairperson, Princess Samiat Bada, to her husband Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo and her sister Mrs. Toyibat Balogun some constituents of Kosofe Federal Constituency have called for a thorough investigation of the Chairperson over the reported misappropriation of public funds and her subsequent impeachment if found wanting.


The constituents made their opinions known in comments posted on our Facebook page after our media outfit (Kosofe Reporters) broke the news of the illegal monthly payment of N500,000 by Princess Samiat Bada to her husband, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo, a staunch PDP member in Ogun state and a die-hard loyalist of Atiku Abubakar.


The Ikosi-Isheri chairperson is also reportedly paying her immediate sister Mrs. Toyibat Balogun N800,000 monthly on the pretence of being the chairperson of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.


These shocking discoveries have, however, not gone down well with the majority of larger Kosofe residents who have condemned the attitude and behaviour of the chairperson and described the development as scandalous, outrageous and disastrous.


They also described the development as an act of anti-party activities and wondered why a council boss who is an APC member would be funding the political activities of a PDP member in another state.

Kehinde Dare: This is preposterous and ludicrously anti party which must be investigated, and the lawbreaker arraigned by the party's top echelon while appropriate sanction is meted out to the culprit, the position and influence notwithstanding


Balogun Compton: If found guilty, she should be impeached on the grounds of abuse of power(giving a such huge amount of money to her husband for doing nothing)..and also for anti-party activities (her support for her husband who is a devoted PDP member in Ogun state)....and I expect the EFCC and ICPC to charge her for financial crimes

Olusola Emmanuel Adedayo: According to the saying "power corrupts, absolute power corrupt absolutely". This is the story of mayoress that turned herself to Goddess in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA. She should be investigated, and if found guilty, be impeached. Though she had the councillors under her palms, LAHA house committee on local government administration should be deployed to unravell the purported arrogation of power scandal and misappropriation of public funds.


Yunus Adogba : This is outrageous and barbaric if confirmed to be true. The system need to investigate everyone surrounded by this economic sabotage melted on the constituency. How can APC set-up be financing opponent if not with collaboration of some top personalities? Be as it's I await a further investigation report to aid my submission on this fraud saga.


 Amosu Adedamola Idowu Setonji: This is disastrous and outrageous cos this mayoress who turn herself to be goddess in ikosi isheri LCDA, I think she needs to be impeached and I know she's not the only one practicing this fraudulent act but she must have the backing of some of our irresponsible and covetous Apex leaders......

Gbenga Osobu: It is unfortunate, painful and unimaginable to comprehend the deployment of our local resources in canvassing victory against us in an all important election involving our National leader and Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.


Rilwan Adewale Isabajo: What do you expect from unreasonable and mannerless person who believe to be in power forever. Diverting Local govt resources to finance another party aspirant, shows the level of loyalty to the party that brought her to power . Working against the party in different ways . Confirm anti party, APC need to investigate and do the needful.

Musediq Odugbesan:Thorough investigation should be implemented without any political delay and if found guilty She should be dealt with accordingly.


Adewale Omoba Adele: ... could this be real , if she found guilty then she faces the consequence ..🤔🤔

Atitebi Dauda: Very very bad. 
how can APC council chairman be using local government money to sponsor PDP candidate. that show that, that APC council chairman is an enemy of Asiwaju bola Ahmed tinubu. She should be Impeached. 
if not all APC leaders are sleeping with snake.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
