MOYO OGUNLEWE APPOINTS "TORONTO" AS SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT REVENUE

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has appointed a popular socialite and a grassroots politician in the Local Government Area, Hon. Funsho Oduntan, popularly Known as "Toronto" as his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Revenue.

The appointment of Hon. Oduntan as SSA Revenue by the council Chairman was consequential upon his remarkable loyalty, commitment, dedication and contribution to the success of the party over the years.
Hon. Oduntan was presented with his letter of appointment by the Secretary to the Local Government, Prince Fatai Gbadebo. and the Chief of Staff to the council Chairman Mr. Abiona.

Meanwhile, in a chat with Kosofe Reporters during the week, Hon. Oduntan expressed delight over the appointment and also vowed to justify his appointment by adding value to Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe-led administration.
The popular grassroots mobilizer expressed gratitude to God for his mercy and favour and also thanked the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his inspirational leadership which he said has positively impacted his life.

He also thanked the GAC leaders in the local government area, Otunba Busira Alebiosu, Omoba Olumuyiwa Sosanya and Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe for the opportunity given to him to serve the local government and also thanked the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe for his belief and trust in his ability to occupy the post.
Toronto ended by thanking the good people of Kosofe Local Government Area most especially the residents of Ifako, Sholuyi, Araromi and Gbagada ( Ward C) for their support.

He said: "I am very happy over this appointment because it is an opportunity for me to serve humanity and the good people of this local government.

"On behalf of my family, I first and foremost wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God for his mercy, favour and protection over my life. Without Him this opportunity wouldn't have been.

"I also wish to express my appreciation to our Incoming President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his inspirational leadership which has positively impacted my life in variegated ways.
"My appreciation also goes to our GAC leaders, Otunba Busira Alebiosu, Omoba Olumuyiwa Sosanya and Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe for their leadership and also to the executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe for his trust and belief in my ability to effectively fit into this post. I promise never to take this for granted.

"And a very big thank you to the good people of Kosofe Local Government Area most especially the residents of Ifako, Sholuyi, Araromi and Gbagada for immensely supporting my political aspiration over the years". 
Hon. Oduntan described the council chairman as an intelligent and visionary leader who is passionate about the well-being of his people and the accelerated development of the local government.

He noted that within a few months at the helm of affairs, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has performed excellently with the construction of laudable infrastructure projects such as the rehabilitation of 11 roads, a Primary Health Care Centre and a Customary Court among others.

He added that the appointment is an opportunity for him to complement the efforts of the Council Boss in moving Kosofe Local Government to greater heights by adding value to his administration policies, programmes and agenda.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
