REP ROTIMI AGUNSOYE CHARGES BENEFICIARIES OF HIS EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES TO VOTE FOR GOV. SANWO-OLU
*Urges BATCO Mandate To Intensify Efforts On Door-to-Door Campaign As It Prepares To Hold Another Rally
The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye has charged the beneficiaries of his various Youth & women empowerment and skill acquisition schemes in Kosofe Federal constituency to vote and re-elect the Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in Saturday’s Gubernatorial election.
He also charged the BATCO Mandate members in Kosofe Federal Constituency to intensify efforts on their strategic house-to-house campaign even as they prepare to hold another BATCO mandate rally on Thursday ahead of March 11 Governorship election.
The chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals made the passionate appeal while addressing a group of Mandate leaders and a group of youth and women who had benefited from his various empowerment programmes at his Magodo Constituency Office on Tuesday.
The Federal Lawmaker asserted that the Lagos State Governor deserved to be re-elected for a second term in office based on his remarkable performance and told the beneficiaries that the best way to formally show appreciation for the impactful empowerment programmes and tools given to them was to re-elect the Lagos State Governor on Saturday.
Hon. Agunsoye while reeling out various achievements of Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration in the past four years in the areas of education, infrastructures, security and health among others, told the group of beneficiaries and the mandate leaders that Lagos State cannot afford not to align with the centre now that the former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is the president-elect of the country.
He told the gathering that a vote for Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday is a vote for the continuation of good governance and that the State would enjoy federal Government presence immensely with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president of Nigeria.
He, therefore, appealed to the beneficiaries most especially the youth to calm down, rein in their anger, look at the bigger picture and cast their votes wisely for Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu on Saturday.
He equally urged them to go back to their different areas of residence and mobilize their friends, neighbours and families to vote for Governor Sanwo-Olu.
It would be recalled that the Lawmaker fondly called the Promise Keeper had in the past 8 years as a member representing Kosofe Federal Constituency empowered thousands of youth and women of the constituency with various productive entrepreneurial tools, skills acquisition programmes and financial support Schemes.
