OLOWORO 1st ANNIVERSARY: ISLAMIC NGO, TA'AWUN, PROVIDES FREE MEDICAL TREATMENTS, DRUGS TO OWOROSHOKI RESIDENTS.

Ahead of the Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom's first coronation anniversary which will take place on Saturday, an Islamic Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, TA' AWUN, has provided free medical tests, treatments, drugs and counselling to hundreds of Oworonshoki community.
The free medical services were rendered by the NGO as part of his humanitarian services on Thursday at the Palace of the Oloworo of Oworoshoki Kingdom with residents of the community mainly women and children storming the palace in their hundreds.
The free medical tests and treatment provided by the Islamic Non-Governmental Organization were on Sugar Levels, Blood Pressure, Infections, Malaria, Mass Deworming, Free consultation and Health education.
The NGO also provided free medical treatment, examination and drugs to children on deworming and health education on major diseases peculiar to Children.
While it also provided free counselling and test on HIV as well as Family Planning.

The humanitarian services came barely a week after free medical screening and glasses were provided to the residents of Oworoshoki community by the Oloworo.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
