APC CHIEFTAIN, HON. JIMMY AKINBORO, CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY IN GRAND STYLE

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA of Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Oluwafolajimi Akinboro, on Saturday, celebrated his birthday to mark another milestone in his eventful political and earthly journey. 
The event, which was held at his residence on Akinboro Street, Agiliti Mile 12, Lagos, was attended by family, friends, colleagues and political associates across Kosofe Federal Constituency.

Hon. Akinboro, fondly called "Jimboro" by his numerous admirers, is a seasoned astute politician known for his acts of generosity, kindness and passionate commitment to the APC, was overwhelmed by the show of love and warm wishes received from friends, colleagues and political associates.
The celebration which took place five days after his birth date on July 3rd, was a powerful testament to his growing popularity among the people of Kosofe Federal Constituency as well as his political circle.

The birthday bash was well attended with prominent members of the All Progressives Congress and loyalists of the immediate member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye in attendance in uniform attires.
Among them were Elder Samuel Omowo, APC chieftain and Mandate Group LGA Chairman Kosofe Local Government; Alhaji Ismail Olasupo, Vice Chairman Mandate Group Kosofe; Hon. Olusegun Apena, former SLA to the Speaker House of Representatives; Hon. Seyi Odufowokan, APC LGA and Mandate Chairman Ikosi-Isheri LCDA; Hon Sade Muyiwa, Former Supervisor Kosofe LG and Mandate Youth Leader; Hon. Lanre Fatunla, former Supervisor Ikosi-Isheri LCDA; Mrs. Modupe Akerele, Mandate Group Woman Leader, Kosofe LGA.

Others are Mr. Ojo Otitoju, Mr. Kazeem Opeodu, Hon. Wùnmi Okewunmi Fashakin, Hon Kehinde Olaegbe (KayDollar), Hon. Segun Makanju, Comrade Segun Dada and Alhaja Olashile Ahmed, ROT Ladies President among others.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Akinboro expressed gratitude for the love and camaraderie, noting that the occasion was not only about him, but an opportunity to reflect on the achievements and progress of the political family. 

He further affirmed the significance of unity and harmony within the APC, urging fellow party members to stay committed to the progressive ideals and values that the party stands for.
"I am immensely humbled by the love and support you have shown me today, but this celebration is not just about me. It is also a moment for us to come together and reaffirm our commitment to the progress and development of our great party, the APC as well as our political circle. 

"Let us remain steadfast and united as we work towards a better Kosofe Federal Constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria at large," Hon. Akinboro stated.

The mother of the celebrant, Madam Akinboro, was also at the occasion to rejoice with her son.

Madam Akinboro expressed gratitude to friends, colleagues and political associates who came to the birthday bash to rejoice with her son.
She also thanked them for their immense support and show of love.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of a special birthday cake by the ROT Ladies led by their President, Alhaja Olashile Rukayat Ahmed to Hon. Akinboro while special gifts were also presented by the ROT Apex Kosofe Local Government spearheaded by Elder Samuel Omowo, ROT Orange Ladies led by Mrs. Titilayo Ayodele and the Goodness Team.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
