Kosofe LG Boss, Moyosore Ogunlewe Inaugurates NULGE Executives, Charges Them To Work In Synergy With His Administration

Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Moyosore Ogunlewe, has inaugurated the newly elected executives of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Kosofe Local Government chapter.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday at the local government Secretariat, with several NULGE officials and employees in attendance.
The newly elected NULGE Chairman, Comrade Raufu Oyefesobi, and his team were sworn into office by Comrade Prince Wale Ojora, the Acting NULGE President of Lagos State.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and high hopes for the new leadership, as their tenure marks a fresh start for the NULGE chapter in Kosofe.

The council's Chairman, in his address, emphasized the importance of a strong and unified NULGE in building an efficient and highly productive workforce for the accelerated development of the local government.
He charged the newly elected executives to work concertedly with the council leadership to realize its overall objectives and revenue drive agenda.

Ogunlewe stated, "As a government, we are committed to providing an enabling environment for productivity and employee satisfaction. Together, we can achieve remarkable progress and development in Kosofe Local Government.

"Revenue is key to the growth and progress of the local government. We plan to embark on many projects that will cost a lot of money.

"For instance, we want to build a hall at the back of the council and give back to the community.

"People are demanding for good roads and other social amenities. And in just two years we reconstructed about 25 roads and 15 drainages. We will keep doing more.

"The most important thing is to get a lot of resources to execute the projects. And only they can get us the required resources".

The New NULGE Chairman, Comrade Raufu Oyefesobi, in a chat with newsmen, expressed gratitude to the Local Government Chairman and the entire council for their support.

He promised to work in synergy with the local government Chairman, lead with integrity, and transparency, and also advocate for a better welfare package for the local government employees.

The acting President of NULGE Lagos State, Comrade Prince Wale Ojora expressed delight at the inauguration and urged the new executives to work concertedly with the local government Chairman.

He urged the new NULGE Chairman to follow in the footsteps of his predecessor and establish a good working relationship with the council Chairman.

"I enjoin the new NULGE executives to continue where their predecessor stopped.

"The former NULGE Chairman enjoyed a good working relationship with the Chairman, and I expected the new executives to even perform better as they have an understanding council Chairman" , Prince Ojora remarked.
