Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Lagos Chapter Inaugurates 4th Assembly, Swears In Adedayo Adebogun As Speaker

The 4th Assembly of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Lagos State Chapter was on Thursday, inaugurated at the Galaxy Events Center Ojota, Lagos. 

The National Deputy Majority leader, Amb. Musbaudeen, representing the National Speaker of YAN, officiated the dissolution of the 3rd Assembly which drew the curtain on the tenure of Oluwatobi Agbetan and heralded Adedayo Adebogun as the 4th Assembly speaker.

While inaugurating the 4th Assembly, Amb. Musbaudeen urged the principal officers to see their appointments as call to service, charging to them to be diligent in their responsibilities and also to be the voice of the oppressed youth in their communities.

The event which had in attendance Youth from across Lagos State was graced by dignitaries such as Omoba Adeyinka Oyediran, CEO Cafe 18 Logistics and Services and Hon. Atewogboye, the Senior Special Assistant on Sport to Lagos State Governor, among others.
In his inaugural address, Rt. Hon. Adebogun announced the appointments of Ambassador Ajewole Samuel and Ambassador Hassan Taiwo as the new Clerk of the house and Sergeant-At-Arm respectively. 

While pledging to work tirelessly towards the empowering of young people in Lagos State, he called for the cooperation and concerted efforts of the newly sworn-in officials of the 4th Assembly towards the realization of the set goals and vision of the Youth Assembly.
The outgoing speaker of the 3rd Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oluwatobi Agboton in his hand-over speech thanked the principal officers and members for their support and cooperation all through his tenure.

He noted that the 3rd Assembly was able to record some significant achievements that impacted positively on its continued existence in spite the difficult challenges it encountered.
He, therefore, charged the 4th Assembly executives to be up and doing in their duties and responsibilities, build on the legacy they are leaving behind and take the Youth Assembly to higher level.

The inauguration marks a significant milestone for the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Lagos State Chapter and its commitment to empowering young people in Lagos State.
