OLOWORO PROVIDES FREE EYE TESTS, GLASSES TO OWOROSHOKI COMMUNITY INHABITANTS
In his efforts at eradicating the problem of eye disease among the inhabitants of Oworoshoki community, the Paramount traditional ruler of the Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Saliu, on Tuesday, provided free medical eye screening and eyeglasses to some members of the community. The free eye screening exercise which took place at the palace of the Oloworo saw hundreds of people in the community including the vulnerable benefiting from the programme. The wife of the Oloworo, Olori Bukola Saliu who oversaw the free eye screening exercise, in a chat with newsmen, stated that the programme was necessitated by the complaint of a member of the community suffering from glaucoma who had approached the Oloworo for urgent financial assistance to treat his eye disease.
