·        ~Says Tinubu Presidency is the birth of a new era of a great and prosperous country

 

The Member House of Representatives, Kosofe Federal Constituency, Rep. (Prince) Rotimi Agunsoye has described the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the birth of a new era of a great and prosperous country.

 

Rep Agunsoye made the statement in his congratulatory message to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu after his inauguration as the new President of the country on Monday at Eagle Square.

 

While congratulating the new President of Nigeria, the Chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) expressed strong optimism and confidence in the ability of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to revamp the nation’s dwindling economy and set it on the path of economic recovery and prosperity.

 

The Lawmaker noted that President Bola Tinubu is a financial Engineer, a man of valour, a leader of great influence, an architect of modern Lagos and a builder of leaders with the magic wand to turn things around and that the citizens of the country would not regret putting their faith on him.

 

The congratulatory message partly reads:

 

“Today we celebrate the birth of a new era where our hope of a great and prosperous country is finally renewed and strengthened. Nigeria will never retrogress again.

 

“On behalf of the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency, I congratulate my great mentor and leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his inauguration today as the 16th President of our great country and Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces.

 

“Your Inauguration today, Sir as the president of our great country is a welcome development and I have absolute confidence in your capacity to effectively steer the rudder of our country to the promised land. The time is quite auspicious at this material moment as our country needs your ingenuity, sagacity and leadership to salvage the dire situation she is at present enmeshed in.

 

“Your antecedent as a financial engineer, a man of valour, a leader of great influence, an architect of modern Lagos and a builder of Leaders speaks volumes and I am sure Nigerians will get nothing less than total transformation and prosperity from your leadership”

 

While praying for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he takes over the mantle of leadership of the country, he urged the citizens to rally round and give him all the necessary support needed.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election.
