KOSOFE WARD C HOLDS FIRST SWAGA MEETING

Barely a week after the launch of Kosofe LGA Chapter of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA) at Galaxy event centre, Ojota, Kosofe Ward C has subsequently held its maiden SWAGA meeting. The inaugural meeting of the Ward was held at Araromi Primary School Gbagada on Wednesday, March 23 with a huge turnout. The coordinator of the support group in Ward C, Mr. Funsho Oduntan popularly known as Toronto expressed satisfaction with the turnout of members to the first meeting of the support group in the Ward while he at the same charged them to intensify more efforts to mobilize Others at home for Asiwaju. He explained that SWAGA is a support group initiated to mobilize support throughout the nation for the actualisation of the Presidential ambition of APC national leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. TimelineNG Award Awareness Initiative has feted the executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe with the most inspiring young politician and council chairman award.  The award was bestowed on him on  Wednesday 23rd March 2022 in recognition of his outstanding performance since the assumption of office as Kosofe local government chairman. The prestigious award was presented to him by the representative of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, Commissioner for information and strategy at the 4th edition of Timeline Awareness Initiative Lecture/Award which was held at Sheraton Hotel and Tower, Ikeja, organized by Globestrides Media, Publisher of Timeline NG.  And the award was received on his behalf by his Senior Special Assistant on special duties, Mr. Alufohai Omokhudu.

*Presented An Art  Portrait by Young Artist The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 at the Lagos state House of Assembly, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon has been presented with an Award of Honour by a  fast rising Youth Organization based in Araromi-Ifako-Gbagada area of Kosofe Local Government. The Pride Of Kosofe (TPK). The Award was presented to the Lawmaker on Sunday at Beko Ransome-Kuti playing ground during the grand finale of Okla Unity Cup. While presenting the Award to Hon. Okanlawon, the coordinator of the organization, Mr. Azeez Balogun, stated that the award was presented to him in recognition of his unmatched representation in the history of Kosofe Constituency 1, adding that he has displayed his worth of capability which was felt by all. Similarly, at the event, the Lawmaker was presented with his portrait drew by a young artist base in Anthony.

OKLA UNITY CUP ENDS IN GRAND STYLE AS MARYLAND UNITED FC WINS MAIDEN EDITION

Sanni Okanlawon has donated four 800 watt led solar street power lights to Soluyi 1 community in Kosofe Local Government. The Solar Power Street lights were presented on Friday to the leadership of the community consisting of the community leader, Chief Eniayewu; the Secretary, Mr. Atanda Lanre; Youth Representative, Mr. Bashir Adebola and Arewa Youth Representative, Mr Bello Manu by the former youth leader of ward C Mr. Azeez Balogun on behalf of the lawmaker.
