Oloworo To Take Legal Action Over Installation of Oba Kabir Saliu as Olu of Oko Baba Agba

The Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Saliu, may institute legal proceedings against the recent presentation of the Staff of Office to Oba Kabir Bashir Adesegun Saliu as the Olu of Oko Baba Agba in Kosofe Local Government Area by the Lagos State Government. A reliable source within the palace of the Oloworo, who spoke on condition of anonymity to Kosofe Reporters , said Oba Babatunde Saliu was displeased with the development, insisting that there was no recognised community known as Oko Baba Agba within or immediately adjoining the Oworonshoki Kingdom. According to the source, the Oloworo had already instructed his legal counsel to commence appropriate legal action over what he described as the state government's recognition and installation of a monarch over a community whose existence and status were being disputed.
