TA'AWUN Humanitarian Forum Marks Independence Day With Empowerment, Medical Outreach For 200 In Ojota

The TA'AWUN Humanitarian Forum, Lagos State, on October 1st, held its Independence Day empowerment programme and medical outreach at NIA Nursery and Primary School, Ojota. The event, themed *"Nigeria @ 66: Empowering Youth, Securing The Future Through Humanitarian Action,"* was organized by the Forum, a humanitarian organization committed to improving lives through empowerment, healthcare, free educational activities, security services and cooperative services for community development. As part of the programme, the organization conducted a free medical outreach for over 200 persons and empowered residents with items including popcorn machines, sewing machines and grinding machines. Gbenga Osobu bows out as ISECOM Chairman, renders Account of Stewardship; praises Rotimi Agunsoye ~Lists Police Station, Recreation Centre, Secretariat, Security as Legacy Isheri Estate Community (ISECOM) Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Osobu, has bowed out after four years in office, rendering a comprehensive account of his stewardship and listing the establishment of a functional police station, recreation centre, permanent secretariat and improved security as his major legacies. Osobu, who spoke on Wednesday, October 1, 2026, at the Annual General Meeting and Handover of Leadership of ISECOM, said he took over the mantle of leadership from his predecessor, Alhaji Abiola Abioye, after serving as Vice Chairman in the outgoing administration.
