Hon. Musiliu Aigoro has charged all residents of Kosofe Local Government Area to take a cue from the act of obedience of Prophet Ibrahim and adhere strictly to Government directives on coronavirus pandemic preventive measures.
Hon. Aigoro made this statement at his residence on Saturday, August 1 2020 in a chat with Kosofe Reporters as he joined millions of Muslim faithful all over the world to celebrate Eid-el-kabir festival with members of his family.

While felicitating with all residents of Kosofe Local Government Area over this year's Eid-el-kabir festival Hon. Aigoro stressed that obedience, which is a significant virtue inherent in the narratives of Eid-el-kabir, is very key in the efforts to curtail and eradicate the pandemic in the country.

He therefore urged the people of Kosofe Local Government area to stay safe by always wearing their face masks and taking necessary responsibility against the spread of the insidious pestilence, warning that the virus is very real and lethal.

The member of extended Governor Advisory Council (GAC) however expressed saddness over the inability of two great sons of Kosofe Local Government, Sen. Adebayo Osinowo and Barrister Tunde Buraimoh, to be part of this year's Eid-el-kabir festival.

He described their sudden exit from this world as a great lost to Kosofe Local Government and Lagos state as a whole, stressing that their generosity and kindheartedness are being felt by the entire people of Kosofe Local Government Area most especially during the Sallah period.

He therefore prayed Almighty Allah to continue in granting them eternal rest and forgive their iniquities and transgressions.
