The Chief of staff to the executive chairman of Kosofe Local government, Prince Fatai Gbadebo has urged the residents of Kosofe Local Government Area to be thankful and grateful to the supreme being and also adhere strictly to the protocols on Covid-19 preventive measures.

Prince Gbadebo made this appeal on friday in his residence at Ojota as he joined millions of Muslim faithful all over the world to observe Eid-el-Kabir festival, albeit in low key.





While noting that this year's Eid-el-Kabir festival was low key as a result of the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, he urged residents of local government area to adhere strictly to the directives of government on coronavirus preventive measures.


He said: "we should all adhere strictly to government directives as regard to Covid-19 pandemic. We should all be grateful and thankful to Almighty God, though the festival is a low key one. We should thank God we are still alive."


Prince Gbadebo spoke further by paying tribute to late Sen. Adebayo Osinowo who is longer alive to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir with his teeming political followers..


He said although Sen. Osinowo is no longer alive, his spirit is still very much around with them as they celebrate, saying he will never be forgotten as he lived a good life worthy of emulation and that his legacy will never be eroded.


Prince Gbadebo praised, the Lawmaker Representing Kosofe federal Constituency, Prince Rotimi Agunsoye and the executive chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Afolabi Sofola for the great work they have been doing in the local government area.


He also praised Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Okanlawon, the Lawmaker Representing Kosofe Constituency 1 Lagos House of Assembly, saying he has performed excellently well and impacted positively on the lives of his constituents.
