Eid-el-kabir: Jumoke Animahun Felicitates With Kosofe Residents

The one-time sole administrator and Former Secretary to the Local Government to Kosofe Local Government Hon. Jumoke Animahun has urged residents in Kosofe Local Government Area to imbide the lessons inherent in the Eid-el-kabir and rededicate themselves to the services of the supreme being and humanity.
Hon. Animahun while felicitating with all the residents of the local government area over Eid-el-kabir festival noted that the festival signifies Obedience, love, tolerance and sacrifice.

She also advised the residents of the area to celebrate Eid festival by adhering strictly to the directives of NCDC on social or physical distancing in order to curb the spread of the Corona virus.

Hon. Animahun however noted that this year's celebration of Eid-el-kabir in the local government area had lost its usual glamour with the demise of Late Sen. Adebayo Osinowo apart from negative effects of Covid-19.

She stated as they were celebrating Eid-el-kabir in their various houses they were equally looking forward to celebrating with Sen. Bayo Osinowo two days later at Ojude Oba.

She therefore noted that the death of the late Senator was a big blow to Kosofe Local Government Area while she at the same time prayed for his eternal repose.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
