The CHRSJ has, however, called on the State Governor of Ogun State and Inspector General of Police(IGP), Director General(DG) with Ogun State Director of DSS, Assistant Inspector General of Police(AIG) in charge of Zone 2 including; Lagos and Ogun States and Ogun State Commissioner of Police to quickly effect the arrest, investigate and charge Mr. Sunday Olamide Adesiyan and his cohorts to court of the competent jurisdiction in the area and order law enforcement agents comprising men of Nigeria Police Force(NPF), DSS and Mobile Police Officers to the ancient town of Ihunbo in Ipokia Local Government Area of Ogun State to forestall breakdown of law and order in tha town till the end of May.
It also wants the security agents to stop those aforementioned attackers from going ahead with their plan blood sucking festival in order to forestall break down of law and order in the ancient town bearing in mind the recent killing of Oba of Agoodo and beheading of young Sofiat Kehinde by under age children for money ritual in the State.
The executive chairman of CHRSJ Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaimon, in the statement, urged security agents under the Ogun State Commissioner of Police to stop the blood sucking Egungun festival and that should any death occurred this time round, one Mr. Olamide Adesiyan, Titus Babajide, Fatai Isiaka and their cohorts should be held responsible.
Sulaiman described Mr. Adesiyan as fake, imposture and illegal monarch who is not known to the Ruling House (Agbotejoye) to fill the vacant stool of Onihunbo of Ihunbo, recalling that whenever they held any of their purported illegal festival in the
community, many innocent souls used to die in the area.
He the names of the people as
Late Engineer Paul Odewu, through one Inspector Wasiu Lawal attached to Ipokia/Idiroko Divisional Police Station, which Lawal carried out the dastard act on the directive of Mr. Joseph Olamide
Adesiyan and his cohorts.
He added that the case was before the Endsars Panel and Justice Owodunni of Ipokia Judicial Division of the State High Court which the State Counsel, Barrister Olusegun Olaotan is being handled.
It would be recalled that the Centre(CHRSJ) had earlier called on Ogun State Government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun to declare the traditional seat of Onihunbo of Ihunbo stool vacant over what it perceived as illegal and untraditional imposition and to remove a known smuggler, bunker, and land-grabber, one Mr.Joseph Olamide Adesiyan as a monarch of the ancient town.
CHRSJ urged the State government to declare the stool vacant by setting up an Independent Panel of Inquiry to investigate the hanky-panky surrounding the illegal and acclaimed purported installation of Mr. Olamide Adesiyan as Onihunbo without following the order of rotation as stipulated in the 1956/1957 Ihunbo Chieftaincy declaration.
It also described Mr. Adesiyan as an impostor, who should stop parading himself as monarch in and outside the State for wanton of due process as contained in the order of rotation in 1956/1957 Ihunbo Chieftaincy declaration and Court Affidavit of Princess Victoria Adenike Fagbohun(nee Kilanko Adeyemi) dated 27th day of February 2018.
The ancient town of Ihunbo in the Ipokia Local Government Area of the State has been engulfed in Obaship and Community crisis since Friday 17th of March, 2017 at about 7.29pm when Adesiyan, Mr.Fatai Isiaka, and Mr.Babajide Titus (aka- Oppressor) led Fourty-Six(46) Armed thugs with the supervision of men of Nigeria Police Force (NPF) coordinated by one ACP Samuel Titus and Twenty-One(21) men of One Hundred and Ninety-Two(192) Battalion of Nigeria Army base in Owode-Yewa, to burn down the Onihunbo's palace with the support of former Governor Ibikunle Amosun's Elder brother, Alhaji Abidoye Amosun popularly called "Alhaji Agba".
The Centre, therefore, recalled again on the security agents in the State to
arrest all aforementioned people so as to forestall imminent crisis in
the Ihunbo community area of the State.
