The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, at the Lagos Assembly, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon; the executive chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Osinowo and Kosofe Local Government chairmanship aspirant at the 2021 LG elections, Hon. Lanre Carew have sent their warm wishes to the newly inaugurated executive members of Kosofe extraction of Lagos State Chapter of All Progressives Congress.


Hon. Sanni Okanlawon in his Congratulatory message to the trio of Mr Abiodun Akhigbe, State Treasurer; Alhaja Jumoke Animawun, Assistant State Secretary and Dr Muritala Seriki, the state Youth leader, urged them to work together in Unison, promote unity, maintain party discipline and put the party in proper shape to ensure victory in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.


The executive chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo in his Congratulatory message to the new Lagos State APC Executive officers representing the larger Kosofe, charged them to be good ambassadors of the Greater Kosofe APC and show exceptional qualities in navigating the affairs of their new positions.


He further urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in adding value to the party at the state level.


While Hon. Lanre Carew in his Congratulatory message urged the trio to display exemplary qualities as state officers of the party and project the good image of the Larger Kosofe.


And while expressing utmost confidence in the capabilities of the inaugurated officers to successfully pilot the affairs of the party in their respective posts, he implored them to remain focus in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
