FORMER AGBOYI/KETU LCDA SLG, GBENGA OSOBU, SETS TO JOIN LAHA RACE

The erstwhile Secretary to the Local Government Agboyi/ Ketu LCDA, Hon. Gbenga Osobu is set to join the race for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat in Kosofe Constituency 2.

Kosofe Reporters reliably gathered that the former Agboyi/Ketu LCDA SLG will declare his intention to run for Lagos House of Assembly Kosofe Constituency 2 seat on the platform of All Progressives Congress with the primary election scheduled to hold on May 11.

Our source informed us that Hon. Osobu is at present in wide consultation with relevant stakeholders and party chieftains in the Constituency and would declare his intention to run before the week runs out.

Kosofe Constituency 2 house of Assembly seat is at present occupied by Hon. Femi Saheed who won a by-election in December 2020 after the demise of Late Tunde Braimoh.

Hon. Osobu, it will be recalled,  aspired for the chairmanship of Agboyi/ketu LCDA last year but later withdrew his aspiration based on the advice of the party chieftains in the LCDA.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
