Kosofe Rep, Rotimi Agunsoye, Sends Congratulatory Message To New Oloworo Of Oworo

The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye has sent congratulatory message to the new Oloworo of Oworo Oba Babatunde Saliu over his ascension to the throne of his ancestors.

In a statement personally signed by him, Prince Agunsoye described the ascension of Oba Babatunde Saliu to the stool of Oloworo as heavenly decreed and a wise decision by the people of Oworonshoki Kingdom.



While wishing the new monarch peaceful and long years on the throne, he expressed strong belief that the reign of the new monarch would be beneficial to the people of Oworonshoki Kingdom going by his accumulated experience in both corporate and public spheres.

Your Majesty,

On this auspicious occasion of your ascension to the ancient throne of your forebears, I extend to you sincere congratulations from my family and the good people of Kosofe Federal Constituency.

Kabiesi, your coronation as the new _Oloworo_ of _Oworo_ is God-ordained and clearly a wise choice in view of your antecedents in public service and the corporate world. Oworonshoki will no doubt tap from the wealth of experience and influence that your reign is destined to bring to bear.

Wishing you long years of peace and prosperity on the throne. _Kadepe lori!_ _Kibata pe lese! Keshin oba o joko pe!_

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently. Kosofe Reporters gathered that the CDC chairman was arrested on Friday evening at around 5pm and was accused of conspiring with others of relocating a transformer belonging to Adebare Community Development Association, Oworoshoki to an affluent community in the same area fraudulently.
