OLOWORO TUSSLE: OSOLO OF ISOLO CALLS FOR PEACE, SAYS NO MAN CAN CHANGE WHAT GOD HAS ORDAINED

~Pays Royal Visit To Oloworo Of Oworo

~Urges Oba Babatunde Saliu To Embrace Aggrieved Members
A prominent traditional ruler in Lagos State, the Osolo of Isolo, Oba Kabiru Alani Adelaja Agbabiaka (Adeola III) has declared the emergence and installation of Oba Babatunde Saliu (Elebo II) as the new Oloworo Of Oworonshoki Kingdom as an act of God that no man can change.

Oba Agbabiaka made the statement on Monday when he paid a royal visit to the newly crowned Oloworo Of Oworonshoki Kingdom Oba Babatunde Saliu in his palace.
While addressing some members of Bashir Oloruntoyin Royal Family, the traditional ruler who is also a prominent member of the Royal family and some other royal families in Lagos State, described the installation of Oba Babatunde Saliu as an act of God that neither he nor any man can overturn.

He, therefore, appealed to members of the royal family who still rankle with the installation of the new Oloworo to embrace peace, accept the development in good faith and join hands together with the new King for the betterment of Oworonshoki Kingdom.
He noted that his visitation to the palace of the new Oloworo was to resolve the crisis amicably and by so doing nipped the insidious plans aggrieved members of the royal family were nursing in the bud, warning that any attempt to take the matter to court would be an exercise in futility.

"I want to appeal to Bashir Oloruntoyin Royal family that should form one strong united family; let's come together. I know it is not easy. But whatever God has done no man should attempt to change it. And I am not ready to change what God has signed to. If it's the will of Allah we should abide by it.
"And to those who say they want to go to court, what are they going there for. Are we the only ones in this community?

"I want both men and women of Bashir Oloruntoyin Royal family to join hands with Oba Babatunde Saliu for the betterment of Oworonshoki land. That's why I'm here.

"My coming here has nullified whatever they are scheming to do. Very soon you will see them come here. We are going to rejoice and do everything together": Oba Agbabiaka said.
While praying for a long and peaceful reign of Oba Babatunde Saliu on the throne, he advised him to embrace the aggrieved members of the family with open arms whenever they come to the palace, noting that he too had a similar experience when he ascended to the throne of A
Osolo of Isolo 18 years ago.

He added that it is a commonplace experience for anybody occupying a position of power to encounter stiff opposition and challenges just like the prophets of God.
The Osolo of Isolo also called for Unity among the people of Oworonshoki, the King and the palace Chiefs, stressing that peace and progress are contingent on unity.
