Rep Rotimi Agunsoye Distributes NEMA Relief Materials To Ikosi-Isheri Flood Victims

The Lawmaker representating Kosofe Federal Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Hon. (Prince) Rotimi Ojo Agunsoye, on Sunday, under the auspices of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) distributed emergency relief materials to victims of flood disaster in Ikosi-Isheri of Kosofe Federal Constituency.

The relief materials were presented to affected victims of the previous flood disaster by the representatives of NEMA and monitored by APC Ikosi-Isheri LGA Chairman, Otunba Seyi Odufowokan.
Relief items such as bags of rice, beans, and maize; blankets, duvets, buckets, cloths, sewed clothes, mats and mattresses were distributed at the Magodo constituency office of the lawmaker.


The presentation of the relief materials followed an official complaint lodged by the Lawmaker to the agency for its swift intervention after flood destroyed lives and property worth millions of naira in his constituency.

The beneficiaries of the relief materials expressed deep appreciation and praised Hon. Rotimi Ojo Agunsoye for his responsive and quality representation.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses.
