REP AGUNSOYE REITERATES COMMITMENT TO PROVIDING QUALITY REPRESENTATION TO CONSTITUENTS

The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) has reiterated his continued commitment to providing quality representation to the people of Kosofe Federal Constituency.
Hon. Agunsoye gave the assurance on Christmas Day at his Ijebu-Ijesha residence while being presented with an award of "Outstanding Kosofe Representative" by ROT Lady Coordinators of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.

While receiving the award, the Lawmaker expressed delight at the recognition of his impactful representation at the Green Chamber by the ROT Lady Coordinators and assured them of his determination to always strive for what rightly belongs to them.
"The reward for hard work is more work. And that is what you have told me. And I will not relent. I will continue to fight and struggle for what belongs to us for I know God is always with us": he said.

The distinguished lawmaker, however, advised the lady coordinators to remain resolute and focused in what they are doing, assuring that success would eventually come their way.

He said: "I can say categorically you are the ones working. Don't worry, even if the leaders are not seeing you, God is seeing you.

"God will continue to lead you; Just face what you are targeting. Do it well because I know at the end of a dark tunnel, there is light"

In a related development, the ROT Lady Coordinators also presented a Distinguished Leadership Award to ROT Ladies President, Alhaja Olashile Rukayat Ahmed.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
