MOYO OGUNLEWE COMMENDS COUNCIL'S STAFF, RETIREES AS THEY HOLD NEW YEAR PARTY, SENDFORTH

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has commended the management and staff of the council for their contributions to the success and accomplishments of his administration in 2022.

Barrister Ogunlewe made the commendation at the occasion of Workers' Forum/New Year Prayer session/ Sendforth party held at the council's secretariat on Thursday January 19, 2023.
The council boss who was represented at the occasion by his Vice-chairman Mr. Oluwole Sosanya, noted that the hardwork, dedication, loyalty and support the management and staff gave his administration in the preceding year were responsible for the unprecedented achievements his administration recorded.

He, therefore, assured them of his continued support, stressing that their welfare would be uppermost in his agenda.

"Let me begin by wishing you all the best for a Happy New Year. I thank you for all your cooperation and your hard work last year.

"I thank all the NULGE Executives led by Prince Ade Orababa, the Management, Staff and Non-Pessionable for their dedication, maturity, sincerity, loyalty and perseverance, and the total support you've given to me and my team in the last 1 year and few months we've assumed office. Our success, so far, was possible because of all the people here. I can say it anywhere that Kosofe Local Government is the best.

"Continue to believe in our administration; and in our staff, many of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice.



"I continue to have faith in the ability of the people to come together for the common good .

"With that spirit, we can make 2023 a year of accomplishment and truly build a life of dignity for the people.

"I promise to meet up with your demands and make your welfare paramount", the council Chairman stated.

Barrister Ogunlewe also commended the retirees who were being given Sendforth party for their contribution to the growth and development of the local government.

About 10 staff of the council were being given a Sendforth party after years of meritorious service to the local government, Lagos state and the country at Large.

The staff are Adeyemi Taofeek, Adewuyi Mosunmola, Adetayo Modupeola, Balogun Isiaka, Popoola Moriamo, Akinmolayan Victoria, Olaniyi Abayomi, Olajide Oluremi, Ashaka Suzan and Adebayo Ojo.

APC Adjusts Primary Elections Timetable Again, Shifts Special Congresses To May 16-17

  The All Progressives Congress (APC) has once again proposed an adjustment of its Timetable for participation in the 2023 General elections and has moved its Special Congresses for Delegates to May 16 and 17. Special Congresses were originally scheduled to hold from Thursday, May 12, until the Party, which is currently racing against time, took the decision to change the date and allow time for critical announcements and orientation of committee members before the Congresses. This will be the third time the ruling party will be presenting timetable for its crucial primary elections after its National Convention of March 26, 2022.   The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recently warned political parties to ensure they meet its own deadline for primary election. * Warned To Stop Addressing Himself As Honourable Kosofe Local Government Area CDC chairman Mr. Segun Babatunde has reportedly been arrested by the men of Nigeria Police Force, Zone Il Onikan Lagos, for allegedly relocating a transformer belonging to a community in Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State fraudulently.
