GOVERNORSHIP POLL:"WE MUST WIN LAGOS FOR APC" - REP. ROTIMI AGUNSOYE DECLARES

*Galvanizes Support For Sanwo-Olu Across Kosofe With BATCO Mandate Rally

*Says Gov. Sanwo-Olu Deserves To Be Re-elected
The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency Hon. Prince Rotimi Agunsoye has charged the people of the constituency to rise up and win Lagos for the All Progressives Congress (APC) by re-electing Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos State Governor on March 18 Gubernatorial poll.

Rep. Agunsoye made the charge while speaking with newsmen on Thursday at the BATCO Mandate rally he spearheaded in the Constituency in support of the re-election bid of the Lagos State Governor.
The federal Lawamaker who is also the Chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) averred that the Lagos State Governor deserved to be re-elected based on his scintillating performance since assuming office about 4 years ago.

He explained that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu had been able to shore up the Internally General Revenue (IGR) of Lagos State to 51 billion naira monthly besides landmark infrastructural projects his administration had done in Lagos State and therefore should be given another opportunity to continue with the laudable job.
While stating that Lagos is cosmopolitan, he urged Lagosians to look beyond the primordial sentiment of tribal affinity and cast their votes for APC on march 18 to align it with the party at the federal level.

"I served as Special Adviser on Physical Planning and Urban Development to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu when he was Governor of Lagos State. I served as Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under Babatunde Raji Fashola and I am now serving my second term as a Member House of Representatives. These are all in Lagos but I am from Osun State. So Lagos is liberal.
"If anybody wants to bring up the issue of non-indigenes or that just ignore it. We are all together. But what is important is that we must win Lagos for APC.

"Babajide Sanwo-Olu has performed excellently and we want him to continue. He is the one that can take us to the next level. We are for him. You don't change a winning team.
"He has among other laudable things been able to increase the IGR of Lagos to 50 billion naira": Rep. Agunsoye stated.

Rep. Agunsoye spearheaded what has been adjudged as the most effective and impactful rally in Kosofe Federal Constituency in recent times with thousands of Mandate group members scouring the nooks and crannies of the Constituency canvassing support for the Lagos State Governor.

The rally which began around 9 a.m. at Emmanuel High Street Ojota was carnival-like with the Lawmaker and thousands of Mandate members donning branded yellow T-shirts and caps of the Lagos State Governor scouring the streets, major roads and markets in Kosofe, Agboyi-Ketu and Ikosi-Isheri in a very long procession.

Among the notable places the Chairman House Committee on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) rallied to were Ojota chemical market, Ogudu road, Ojota motor garage, Ikorodu road, Ketu Mottor garage, Mile 12 international market, Ikosi road, CMD road, Shangisha and Magodo Estate.

As the Lawmaker was moving from street to street he was at the same time leveraging on his Street credibility, popularity and the goodwill he enjoys with the good people of his constituency based on almost 8 years of quality and impactful representation at the green chamber by engaging them in one-on-one interactions and appealing for the re-election of the Lagos State Governor.
Rep. Agunsoye also visited the Chairman of Mile 12 international market Alhaji Shehu Usman Jubril where he was assured of the support of the Arewa Community for the Lagos State Governor.

The Lawmaker also took the opportunity of the rally to formally name a triangular park in the market after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
